Taylor Swift’s wildest fangirl dreams came true last night on her final LA Tour stop as she announced that Justin Timberlake would be her final guest appearance and my heart might have melted completely.
In what will only go down to be the most EPIC night of guest performances on Taylor’s final stop in Los Angeles on her 1989 World Tour, Taylor graced the audience with even more flawlessness as the legend himself, Justin Timberlake, casually stopped by to sing a duet of his hit “Mirrors” with Tay, and don’t say I didn’t warn you about this perfect moment of insanity:
Taylor, of course took to Instagram to share a video of the unforgettable performance saying, “I have no way to deal with this. Justin Timberlake is the BEST,” as her 44 million followers would most likely 100% agree with that statement. JT also took to Instagram to share a backstage photo of the two just being themselves, saying QUOTE, “That moment when you and Taylor were just doing what you do before you go onstage…”
But not only had Taylor dreamt about this moment for years as she gushed to the sold-out crowd that Justin has been a great friend, giving her great advice and has also allowed her to fangirl over him as freely as she’d like throughout the years, but this was also a special night for Justin because it was his very first performance after becoming a dad to his son Silas with his wife Jessica Biel, who was also in the audience supporting the two last night.
So it’s safe to say this entire performance left us, and most likely Taylor, with NO words, except this final action:
Yeah, MIC DROP. So I’m sure I can already guess, but when you’re able to form words after what you just witnessed, I want to hear your thoughts about Taylor bringing JT out to perform and also let me know which guest was your favorite right down here in the comments. After that you can click right over here to check out an episode of Totally Clevver where we recreate an epic day in the life of T-Swift. Thanks so much for hangin with me on Clevver Music, I’m your host Erin Robinson and I’ll see ya next time.
