Drake’s Mom on Rap Beefs: ‘They’re Too Grown Up for That’

Ever since Drake responded to Pusha-T’s DAYTONA track “Infrared” with “Duppy Freestyle,” it’s been a little hectic for Aubrey, to say the least. Kanye West chimed in on Drake’s comments on his most recent solo album ye, while JAY-Z also took a moment to diss Drizzy on his newly released collaborative album with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love. It’s safe to say he’s something of a target right now, and it seems as if Drake’s mom Sandi Graham has had enough of it.

Speaking with TMZ, she said that the 6 God and all involved are “too grown up” for rap beef. When asked if she thinks Drake made the right choice by not responding to Pusha-T’s scathing “Duppy Freestyle” response “The Story of Adidon,” she didn’t seem to think him moving on was a bad idea. “I believe he always makes the best decisions in the end,” she explains.

Lil Twist Continues to Take Shots at G.O.O.D. Music

Shortly after the Pusha-T vs. Drake beef came to a standstill, Lil Twist attempted to reignite the drama by releasing “Message 2 G.O.O.D. Music,” a so-called “warning” record in which he defended his label mate Drizzy against Kanye West and King Push.

It was a bizarre and unnecessary response that received criticism from various corners of the internet. Some roasted Twist for assuming he had any influence over the G.O.O.D. Music crew, while others dismissed the track as Twist’s shameless attempt to gain publicity. But despite all the roasting, Twizzy has refused to back down.

On Tuesday morning, the Dallas-bred rapper set another message to G.O.O.D. Music with a second diss track cleverly titled “Another Message to G.O.O.D. Music.”

Rihanna Boosted Anne Hathaway’s Body Confidence on Set: ‘You Got an Ass Like Me’

Ocean’s 8 is out this weekend, and while the cast is stacked with a murderer’s row of some of the most talented ladies in Hollywood, even the most A-list of A-listers are awed to be in Rihanna’s presence. As they should be.

Anne Hathaway stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote the all-female heist comedy. The actress opened up about feeling self-conscious about returning to her first movie set since the birth of her son Jonathan 2016. “I don’t beat myself up about any of that stuff anymore, but after I had my son, the weight was really slow to come off and so I was a different size than I normally am.”

Diddy: Drake ‘Took the L’ in Pusha-T Beef

Diddy called in on The Breakfast Club line Thursday morning to talk all things Four before hitting his morning run. Naturally, DJ Envy also had to sneak in a question about Pusha-T and Drake’s seemingly abandoned feud.

“It’s a part of hip-hop, man,” Diddy said around seven minutes into the video below. “If you’re trying to be the best MC, there’s gonna be battles. At this juncture in time, it’s kinda safe. When we was having battles, it was getting unsafe. I think that this is the most skillful artist that Drake has come up against and, you know, Drake likes the smoke. He loves the smoke.”

Ultimately, Diddy said, Drake “took the L” for not responding. However, Diddy believes Drake made the right move by taking J. Prince’s alleged advice. “He should listen to J. Prince because I was in that same position,” he said. “I was in that same position with [2Pac’s Biggie diss ‘Hit ‘Em Up’] and I told Big not to respond, so I can understand.”

People Think Beyonce Is Shading Kim Kardashian on “Top Off”

DJ Khaled dropped his Future, Jay Z, and Beyoncé-assisted “Top Off” last night, and no matter what you think of the song, there’s one huge standout: Bey rapping. It’s pretty dope to hear Bey spitting off bars, and she really goes for it on this song, so much so that it’s already started sparking diss rumors left and right. During her verse, Bey flexes about being able to “break the internet” and her “real body,” which many have read as a direct jab at Kim Kardashian. Others saw a less pointed nod to Tiffany Haddish, but that one is more contested.
